Shoe Design Coloring Competition
Presented by Literacy Alive & Creativity Alive**
Purpose of the Competition
Students will learn the basics of gym shoe design. After the lesson, each student will receive a shoe template to color and design using the techniques taught during the session. This competition encourages creativity, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
Competition Rules
1. Eligibility
Open to all participating students in the Creativity Alive workshop or associated school program.
Only one entry per student.
2. Materials
Students may use crayons, colored pencils, markers, or digital coloring tools.
Designs must be created using the official shoe template provided during the workshop.
3. Design Requirements
Students must use techniques taught during the session.
Examples: color harmony, patterns, contrast, blending, theme development, and clean outlines.
The final design must remain school-appropriate.
4. Submission Guidelines
After completion, students must have their coloring page scanned or photographed clearly.

Submission deadline: December 8, 2025 (or whichever date you choose before the 10th).
5. Judging Criteria
A panel from Literacy Alive and Creativity Alive will score each entry based on:
Creativity and originality
Use of design techniques taught during the workshop
Color choices and harmony
Clean line work and presentation
Overall visual impact
6. Winner Announcement
Winners will be announced before December 10, 2025.
The winning student will receive one pair of Jordan sneakers (model and size based on availability and winner needs).
7. Ownership and Permissions
Students retain ownership of their artwork.
By submitting, students grant permission for Literacy Alive to display the design on social media, websites, and future promotional material.
